“Newmarket’s Emma Hill is returning to school next week.
The Stonehaven Elementary School student hasn’t been to class since she was admitted to the Hospital for Sick Children last October after becoming too ill to walk, talk or eventually breathe on her own.
Since then, the school community started a button campaign with Erin Wynn at the helm that spread like wildfire and has raised more than $12,000 to help the family bring Emma, 9, home. Businesses and individuals have held fundraisers to do the same.”
